ILAE at a Glance
The International Leadership Academy of Ethiopia (ILAE) is a college preparatory school for 400 Ethiopian students in grades 9-12.
Our curriculum is informed by Ethiopia's national curriculum, The Northwest School's curriculum (based on student-centered learning and an integrated Humanities curriculum), traditional Ethiopian educational and cultural values and best practices from around the world. Components Include:

The Class of 2017!
ILAE has launched with its first ninth grade class of 24 highly capable students. As they move on to tenth grade, we will welcome a class of 30 new ninth graders this year.
Our students are thriving, and the program has exceeded our expectations of meeting the highest academic standards, following both the Ethiopian national curriculum and enrichment programs modeled on the best programs from around the world. These include leadership development, critical thinking, service, strong sense of community, development of confidence and creativity through theater, and exposure to the environment through field trips..
